DGR-PRM District 3780

PDG Oscar "Oca" A. Inocentes
PDG Oca started with Rotary in 1969, having been a charter member and charter director of the Rotary Club of Cubao and served as district governor in RY 1994-1995. He is a RY 2002-2003 recipient of the "Service Above Self Award", RI's highest award. He has also received the Presidential award as "Rotarian of the Year" in RY 84-85 and the Governor's award as "District Rotarian for the Year". Aside from being this year's DGR-PRM, PDG Oca is PRM's Lifetime Subscriptions Coordinator.

PDG Oca has spent most of his time in the service of the Philippine government as assistant city fiscal, as city judge of Quezon City , Board of Trustees of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and at present, he is the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, National Capital Region, Office of the President. He is also a partner of the Inocentes Untalan and Untalan Law Offices (on-leave); consultant of Glorious Sun Agricultural & Dev. Corp; consultant of Inocentes Realty & Sales Corporation; chairman of the board of Sytengco Group of Companies; director of Philippines Insurance Corp; director of Banco San Juan and president and chief executive officer of the Rotary Center Foundation, Inc.

He and his wife Ciony have been blessed with four children, Olive, Olga, Olma and Oscar, Jr.


DGR-PRM District 3770
PDG Romulo "Boy" O. Valle, Jr.
PDG Boy joined the Rotary Club of Cauayan in 1983 and holds the classification of fuel and oil distribution. He served his district as district governor in RY 1996-1997and is currently the chair of Community Service. He recently came back from Western Australia D-9470 were he served as GSE Team Leader of his district. This is PDG Boy's fifth consecutive year as DGR-PRM and is also PRM's Special Events Coordinator. He has received numerous awards and citations from Rotary International, most notably of which are:"RI Presidential Citation", "Serving Beyond Your Year Award" and the "Service Above Self Award", the highest award being given by Rotary International.

PDG Boy is currently president and general manager of RVJ Industrial Sales & Services Corporation. He is also a director of Mega Vision Cable TV Corp and proprietor of Valle Petron Service Station. He is a graduate of civil engineering of Mapua Institute of Technology, engineering management from the Ateneo de Manila University and construction management and PERT/CPM from the Executive Development Academy .

PDG Boy enjoys golf, basketball and bowling. He is married to Ole, who is the charter president of RC Cauayan Sunshine and are blessed with four children: Marissa, Raymond, Maricel and Maitha.

PP Alfredo "Jun" T. Abellar,Jr.
PP Jun joined RC Marikina East in November 1994. He served his club in various capacities and was elected club president in RY 1999-2000. He has since served the district as chairman for RCC in RY 2001-2002; chairman for club bulletin in RY 2002-2003 and GML associate editor from RY 2000-2003. He is currently the GML editor-in- chief and is on his second term as DGR-PRM. He was named "Rotarian of the Year" in 2001 and 2002 and is a recipient of various Presidential, Service and Achievement awards.

PP Jun holds the classification of pre-need (pension). He is a partner of CHE Abellar Realty Corporation. Other positions held in the past were: area manager, Prudential Group; president, Hilltop Builders Corporation; Ore procurement manager, Value Minerals, Inc; finance manager, Eikon Minerals Inc and budget officer, Apex Mining Corp.

He is married to the former Nora Fernandez and are blessed with three children, namely: Eleonor, Aaron and Dhanice Ann.

PP Renato "Rene" R. Reside
PP Rene was inducted into Rotary as a charter member of the Rotary Club of Marikina Hilltop in June of 1988. He was elected president in RY 1997-98. He was assistant governor in RY 1999-2000 and is currently assistant editor-in-chief of the GML.

PP Rene holds the classification of public accounting practice.An accountant by profession, he is engaged in public accounting practice and financial consulting. He graduated with a degree of BS in Commerce from the De la Salle University.

He is married to the former Evelyn P. Elido and together they have six children namely: Renato Jr, Evelyn Victoria, Christina, Karen, Kathryn Hazel and Juan Miguel.

CP Ma. Morena "Mong" S. Canizares
CP Mong holds the classification of industrial optometry and is the charter president of the Rotary Club of Mariveles Ecozone in RY 1999-2000.

Since then, she has served Rotary as RYLA chair in RY 2000-2001; GSE team leader, assistant governor and DNC member in RY 2001-2002; Youth Exchange chair, DNC member and GSE coordinator in RY 2002-2003 and is currently the Youth Exchange chair.

CP Mong is a graduate of optometry from DOMC. She was the proprietor of 20/20 Vision Center from 1979-97 and is the administrator of V.C. Properties from 1996 to the present.

She and spouse Mario, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Makati Poblacion, are blessed with three children, Mark, Melissa and Monina. CP Mong enjoys classic guitar playing, singing and tennis.

PP TR Mohan
PP TR joined the Rotary Club of Makati Ayala as a charter member and became its president in RY 1989-1990. He held various positions in the district after that, most notably of which are: DISTAS Co-chair, deputy governor and coordinating chairman for Vocational Service and chair of various Community Service and Environmental Awareness commitees. In RY 1997-1998, he received Rotary International's "Four Avenues of Service Citation for Individual Rotarian", Presidential Service Award (RC Makati Ayala,1986-87) and Most Outstanding Rotarian (RC Makati Ayala, 1986-1987).

PP TR was born in Madras , India . He completed his Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the India Institute of Technology and his Masters in Business Management at the Asian Institute of Management.

He is currently the president and general manger of Gendiesel Philippines, Inc. He has been the chairman of the Philippines-India Business Council from 1995 upto the present.

PP Renato "Chochit" L. Tobias
PP Chochit joined Rotary as a charter member of the Rotary Club of Makati Bel-Air in 1994. He was elected president in RY1996-1997 and was given the "Outstanding President Award". He is currently the district coordinating chairman for International Service and is on his second year as DGR-PRM. He served the district as deputy district governor, deputy district secretary and member of the district nominating committee. He has also chaired the PETS and the DOTS.

PP Chochit holds the classification of real estate development and is chairman of East Horizon Development Corp. He is a graduate of management engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University; candidate, Masters in Business Economics, University of Asia and Pacific and currently taking up Masters in Entrepreneurship, Asian Institute of Management.

He enjoys playing golf. He is married to the former Arlene Cheng, who is also a charter member of RC Makati Bel-Air. They are blessed with four children, Franco, Clarissa, Adrian and Michael.

CP Rey C. Añonuevo
CP Rey served as charter president of the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa South in RY 1999-2000 and was again its president for RY 2000-2001 where he holds the classification of marine and industrial engine distribution. For this Rotary year, he will serve the district as Chair-Year End Review; Chair-Awards; Nomcom Member and Chair-Centennial for his club. He will also chair the Distas 2004. Other positions he has held in the past are : assistant governor, area coordinator-RVC and PEFC, district chair for Rotary Information, Musical Concert and District Officers and Assistant Governors Training. He has received several awards such as the "Rookie Rotarian of the Year" and "Most Outstanding President" for two consecutive years.

CP Rey is a graduate of civil engineering from the University of the East and is currently the general manager of Nordic Industries, Inc. and owner/proprietor of Assorted 168 Trading. In the past, he was VP-Sales & Marketing of Starcraft Corporation and branch manager of Fil-Estate Network Inc.

He enjoys reading and playing ball games. He is married to Elly and are blessed with four children, Ray Michael, Rey Miguel, Rei Michaevelli and Elyssa Mae.

PDG Juanito "Sonny" T. Ventura
PDG Sonny joined the Rotary Club of University District in 1973. In 1979, he organized the Rotary Club of Downtown Manila and served as its charter president for RY 1979-1980. He served Rotary as district governor in RY 1985-86 of D-3810, then newly redistricted, making him its first governor. He has been the managing editor of the Philippine Rotary Magazine since 1995.

PDG Sonny has served Rotary International in various capacities. He was a group discussion leader in the International Assembly in Texas; group leader at the Anaheim Rotary International Institute; committee chair of RI WCS Asia, Rotary International counsellor to several Foundation scholars; GSE team leader to D-125; RI Council of Legislation representative to Caracas, Venezuela and RI President's Representative to many district conferences both here and abroad. PDG Sonny has received numerous awards and citations and is the first Filipino recipient of Rotary International's highest award, the "Service Above Self Award".

He is married to the former Lyndia F. Pinzon and are blessed with three children, namely Raymond, Rebecca (married to PRM's associate editor PP Eduardo M. Trinidad) and Richard.


DGR-PRM District 3860
DS Gerard R. Rikken
DS Gerard was born in Netherlands and arrived in the Philippines in 1962 and is now a permanent resident here. He was president of the Rotary Club of Bislig in RY 2000-2001 and holds the classification of social development. He has been AGR Zone 3-B of his district for two years, RYs 2001-2003 and director of club service of his club for the same period. He is now D-3860's district secretary.

He is at present the executive director of Loving Presence Foundation. He was a faculty member of the Asian Social Institute from 1967-1996 and was a consultant for Leaf Foundation from 1996-1999.

He is a BS Philosophy and Licenciate Theology graduate from the Seminary, Netherlands ; an MS Economics graduate of Asian Social Institute and a PhD (Cand) Economics from the UP School of Economics .

PP Gerard also spends his time caring for the disabled and the environment. He is married to Remy and are blessed with a son and a daughter.


DGR-PRM District 3850

PP Fernando "Fernie" J. Abulencia
PP Fernie belongs to the Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo and holds the classification of veterinary medicine where he served as president in RY 2000-2001. Before that, he was its director, treasurer and secretary. He has served his district as Chair- Membership Growth & Retention in RY 2001-2002 and Chair-Avenue of Community Service in RY 2002-2003. He is a recipient of the "Four Avenues of Service Citation for Individual Rotarian" in RY 1998-1999.

PP Fernie is at present VP for Operations of Sunshine Feedmill, Inc and is a technical consultant of San Lorenzo Feedmills, Inc. He is a graduate of veterinary medicine from De La Salle - Araneta University (formerly G. Araneta University Foundation).

He enjoys playing with his children. He is married to Anna Pinky and are blessed with a son, Paolo Jose and a daughter, Caryl Anne.

AG Leopoldo "Leo" E. Ochia
AG Leo was president of the Rotary Club of Cotabato East in RY 1999-2000. Since then he has served the district as a member of the nominating committee in RY 2001-2002; chairman of environment protection in RY 2002-2003 and is currently his district's supervising assistant governor for administration.

He is at present owner/manager of LE Ochoa Construction and Supply. He was operations manager of Elsen Engineering from 1990-1993 and vice president for construction of HMB Construction and Supply from 1994-1996.

He is a BS Electrical Engineering graduate from the Mindanao State University , a BS Civil Engineering graduate and a candidate in Masters in Public Administration from the Notre Dame University .

He enjoys listening to classical music. He is married to Josephine and are blessed with two sons and three daughters.
