We give a warm "Mabuhay" to the new RI president, Jonathan Majiyagbe, who hails from Africa, the first RI president from that region. We also condole with him on the demise of his spouse, Ade, just before the start of the term. We wish him as well as he leads Rotarians in lending a hand to their communities and to the world.

District 3830 is the sponsor of this first issue of the year, a first for this magazine. We salute DG June Cortes who wants to "Lend a Hand" this early by sharing with our readers his vision and his plans of action for the coming year and inspiring his Star team and the rest of the Rotarians from his district.
