The Foundation Alumni Resource Group (FARG) is a task of Rotary world. There are alumni leaders composed of general coordinators, assistant general coordinators, area coordinators in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific RIM, Great Britain and Ireland, Continental Europe, the Mediterranean, and Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Antilles, United States and Canada. The overall goal of the Foundation Alumni Resource Group is to encourage Rotary clubs and districts to involve Foundation alumni in Rotary activities; to urge clubs to consider alumni as potential members of Rotary and as potential contributors to The Rotary Foundation; and to use alumni as effective advocates for the programs of The Rotary Foundation. The district subcommittees are asked to support and encourage to work in cooperation with The Rotary Foundation Alumni Section to maintain an accurate and complete current list of all alumni within the district and to utilize it locally in appropriate ways. ALUMNI RELATIONS Who are Foundation Alumni? Anyone who receives a Rotary Foundation grant or scholarship award is an alumnus of a Foundation program, Ambassadorial scholars, recipients of Grants for University Teacher or Carl Miller Discovery Grants, Group Study Exchange team members, and Rotary Volunteers are all Rotary Foundation Alumnus. What programs and activities are available to the alumni? The alumni currently receive REConnections, a twice-annual newsletters, in late-autumn and again in the spring. REConnections details news of alumni activities and the accomplishments of individual alumni as well as news of the Rotary World. What is Alumni Relations?
