Rotary's legacy to the world of eradicating polio by 2005 will soon be a reality, that is if the funding shortfall of $80 million will be met. There are remaining pockets of the disease, which maims poor children and destroys their future. The "final push" is meant to pay for vaccine and surveillance systems to eliminate the disease by Rotary's Centennial year. It can be done. You can do your share NOW by supporting the Polio Eradication Fundraising Campaign (PEFC). Details are on page 15 & inside back cover of this issue.
